My staff?

It's been a while since I spent a post running retractions and corrections. There just haven't been much to correct. I think that speaks to the journalistic professionalism you've come to expect from Budding Ventriloquist.


But I will take an opportunity to speak to some BV things I hear readers chatter about at the water cooler (Oh - I have to make a really good logo for this! This one is only an "almost ok, quick throw together one. But I was excited, I rushed it because I have to cut the grass now. My apologies.)

Yesterday, I used the logo for the Vent Channel on a "No Logo Thursday - Friday Edition" Post.  Come to think of it, That post-it note thing looks kind of like a logo, too.


I have to talk to my staff about this. This is going to require closed door meetings.

And to follow up on my post about Rachel Maddow and her Paul Rand Rand Paul interview.  I really do avoid getting hip-deep political issues, but I have to say this about Paul Rand Rand Paul:

If you're going to have a last name that's a first name, at least have the decency to have a first name that's a first name. This having a last name that's a first name and a first name that's a last name is absolutely subversive, if not downright socialist. It's just bull-pucky.


If I had a restaurant, I wouldn't let you eat there.
