After spending the day at the Renaissance Festival, I was surprised that there were no ventriloquists there. There were stylized comedians, some mud fighters, and some juggler/knife throwers who had the best patter of the bunch. And the place does a great job with having acts and characters perform “in the streets” to keep you guessing. But there was not a ventriloquist in sight.
So yet another act idea is to develop a medieval patter. I think that means using the word “thee” a lot.
And if a job at the festival isn’t in the offing, it’s off to Amish country. They’d love it, too.
Or to Utah?
